Instructions
Roasting the Dandelion Root
Preheat your oven to 250°F (120°C).
Clean and chop fresh dandelion roots into small pieces (1-2 cm) if using fresh roots.
Spread the root pieces in a single layer on an oven tray.
Roast in the oven for 20-30 minutes until the roots turn nut brown, stirring occasionally.
Allow the roasted roots to cool, then store in an airtight container or mason jar.
Brewing Dandelion Coffee
Use a coffee grinder to grind the roasted dandelion roots into a coarse powder.
Add 1-2 tablespoons of the ground dandelion root into a French press or tea infuser.
